> Accountant with an interest in software engineering, product & AI agents.

I’m an accountant with an interest in software engineering, product and AI agents. Accounting taught me to love systems that balance: inputs, rules and outputs you can trace and trust. Software turns out to be the same thing, with much better tools.

I trained as a developer at [Le Wagon](https://www.lewagon.com), where I learned Ruby, Rails, JavaScript and the everyday craft of shipping web apps. Since then I’ve been building my own projects, like [Scentfolio](https://biancacorreia.com/blog/building-scentfolio-a-full-stack-fragrance-tracking-platform-with-ruby-on-rails), and researching product ideas before writing a line of code.

This site is my public journal. No expertise, just curiosity, consistency and honest progress: the lessons, the struggles and the small victories.

## What I write about

- **Learning to code** — Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, explained as I learn them.
- **Building products** — research, validation and the decisions behind what to build.
- **Changing careers** — what carries over from finance into tech, and what doesn’t.
